Formed as a private, non-profit organization in 1968, Sumter Senior Services is the primary provider of services for senior citizens in Sumter County. We are part of a statewide network of service providers who work under the direction of the Lieutenant Governor's Office on Aging. Sumter Senior Services actively promotes the social, mental and physical welfare of older adults in our area through a variety of programs and services including:

• Home Delivered Meals (Meals on Wheels)
• Group Dining in Senior Center
• Transportation
• Light Housekeeping
• Recreation and Leisure Activities
• Health/Wellness Programs
• Retired and Senior Volunteer Programs

Proceeds from the Backyard Jamboree help support Meals on Wheels.
